Why Pitch Videos Work

Pitch Videos are based on a simple convention between you and your audience. If well made, your video gets your value proposition across in exactly 1 or 2 minutes. Because your video has a progress bar, your audience knows exactly where they are, and how much time they are spending with you.

Additionally, you have a window of opportunity that is slightly different to having them in a room, as part of a larger audience. In the privacy of their own office, they are now watching your message with full attention. Knowing when it’s finished, and that you have really compressed it into 1 or 2 minutes. It’s the new elevator pitch without the need for an elevator.
